Rob Blair Motorsports Announces Release of New ADC Diecast

Rob Blair Motorsports announces the release of their new ADC diecast.  The new diecast will have the look of Rob’s 2007 late model.  The diecast will be available in both 1/24 scale as well as 1/64 scale. 

“When we decided to have the diecast made a few years back, we only had the 1/24 scale cars made.  Many of Rob’s fans were interested in the 1/64 scale cars as well,” stated Bill Blair, who, in addition to building and maintaining his brother’s Web site, also spends his time taking care of all the WON11 merchandise. The team also stated that although they really liked the look of the yellow car, the paint scheme for 2008 will be going back to the familiar black WON11. “As of now, there are no plans in the works for another yellow car,” stated Bill. 

“We have had fans ask us about when we were going to have new diecast made, and with the new paint scheme we went with last year, we thought this would be a good time to have some made up,” stated Rob.  “My brother has spoken with Rodney Combs at ADC, and we are looking at a release date of the end of March or the beginning of April.”

When asked about the numbers of diecasts that will be available for the fans of the WON11 late model, Bill Blair added, “The numbers of the 1/24 scale cars will be based on the number of pre-orders that are taken off Rob’s Web site.  I ordered 50 of the 1/64 scale diecast, so those will be available on a first come, first serve basis.”

The WON11 team will be accepting pre-orders on both the 1/24 scale and the 1/64 scale cars at a cost of $60.00 and $15.00 respectively.  There will also be a $5.00 shipping and handling fee on all orders.  Pre-orders for the diecast cars will be accepted until February 15th. 

Bill Blair also added “I took some time over the holiday break to put together a video that highlights some of Rob’s races from 1997 – 2007.  We will also be sending a free DVD of the video with all pre-orders of the diecast as well as any other Rob Blair merchandise that is ordered while supplies last.”
