ROBBIE BLAIR WINS NORTHERN RANKINGS CHAMPIONSHIP OF 134 REGIONAL RACERS

(10/28/07) -- The NORTHERN RANKINGS CHAMPIONSHIP is all sealed up as the final RANKINGS event of the Northern Regional Conference have been tallied. Robbie Blair of Titusville, Pennsylvania has won the Top 5 RANKINGS with fellow PA POSSE member Jason Covert narrowly escaping a second place tie with travelling World of Outlaw Late Model series regular KID-ROCKET Josh Richards. The # WON11 "Maloney Tool & Mold, Bossard's Used Auto Parts, Specialty Products, Armstrong Lumber" sponsored Rocket chassis, Draime engines, Pontiac Gran Prix raceteam managed to not even have to race, this the final NRC weekend, as Friday's race in Kentucky was "a wash". That left
Covert and Richards with an upmost impossible task of being in two places at one time, KY and Hagerstown. The seasons final KUDO's goes to Hagerstown OCTOBERFEST winner, local racer Alan Sagi, who ends up tied for twenty-sixth (26) in the NORTHERN RANKINGS CHAMPIONSHIP with Jackie Boggs, Jeep Van Wormer and Billy Drake.

KING Covert did successfully finish in this Sunday's Top 5 in Maryland, to pull away from KID-ROCKET on the final NRC guideline tallied event, by a mere 5 PTS.  The Top 25 RANKINGS racers will be spotlighted during the off-season with a complete recap of their seasons performances, which will include an EXCLUSIVE interview with the CHAMPION of each of the three Conferences. Blairs championship run on the 2007 NRC began with his first win on the third event of the conference in late April at Challenger Raceway in Indiana, PA. From there he collected five (5) more guidelined (minimum of $5,000 to-Win) victories, with his last one coming in late September. Along with his six overall wins, Blair collected a total of nine other Top 5 finishes, which included two runner-up finishes. More information will be
