Blair Takes Home Top Honors at Tri-City Season Opener

Local teenager and reigning FASTRAK Northeast Late Model Touring Series champion Max Blair of Centerville, PA, continued his winning ways as he captured the 4 Your Car Connection FASTRAK Late Model eature event.

Bob McCann and Stephen Hollabaugh led the 20-car field to the green.  Bryan Salisbury would lead the first two circuits before Alan Dellinger took over the lead on lap three.  Dellinger battled with Mike Pegher, Jr. for several laps with Blair slowly reeling in the twosome.  By lap seven Blair was on Dellinger’s tail and the teen sensation dove under Dellinger as the pair entered turn four on lap seven.  Blair came out with the lead went on to capture his seventh Tri-City Speedway FASTRAK Late Model win.

Bobby Powell, Pegher, Jr., David Scott and Salisbury completed the top five.  Blair and Scott were victorious in the FASTRAK Late Model preliminary events.
